Something strange happened to me in 2023.
As I’ve grown older my Jewish practice has become increasingly important to me, and is a large part of how I understand life, time and community… but I’d always said I never wanted to make work or write about the Holocaust, antisemitism or Israel.
Well, in Jan 2023 I published an Op-Ed in the Times about what remembering the Holocaust means to me, and then in December 2023 I found myself so upset about the discourse around me that I put pen to paper and wrote this for the Jewish News, and online UK newspaper.
